“Hidden Spirit”

Painted during a transitional period - a time of inner challenge to the self and exhaustion with the world, but not surrender to it. Under the layer of blue is an earlier image - a dragon, an archetype of protection and of knowledge that existed in me even before this path began. I don’t show it directly - it remains part of the structure, not a statement.
